Scamahorn Museum

The Scamahorn Museum is a branch of the Sheridan County Historical Society. The museum is an 1884 Methodist Episcopal church restored to its original state. It houses exhibits from the early years of Gordon's Methodist congregation and the town. The Research Center contains catalogued factual stories and obituaries dating back to the settlement of Gordon which makes it an excellent starting off point for those wanting to trace their roots in this area.
